Working on installing the regulator and battery switches for Rutu.  The
complicating factor is that I have a BIG Leece-Neville charging the house
bank and the stock Yanmar alternator charging the starter battery.  There
are two battery switches.  A straight on/off at the house ...

Having a little problem with my chart display showing my position approx 150
ft west of actual,  I checked chart datum (NOAA BSB raster type) and found
it was NAD83, whereas my GPS (non-WAAS) had been set to WGS84. So just for
the heck of it I set the GPS to NAD83. That didn't ...

Just brought a "new" secondhand 31 ft sailboat and need to install
antenna for marine VHF. That will be either masthead (14 meters up) or
on top of TV antenna mast (only some 3 meters).
I do know that higher the better, but avoiding masthead would mean
