What is the DSC term used with marine VHFs?

Inside my VHF (and older one) there is a jumper (solded) where I can switch
between "US" and "INT".
What is the difference (apart from the channels being used slightly
different) in channel technology/frequences/other ??

The ais-support in Oziexplorers New Development Version 3.96.2a is a

Working on installing the regulator and battery switches for Rutu.  The
complicating factor is that I have a BIG Leece-Neville charging the house
bank and the stock Yanmar alternator charging the starter battery.  There
are two battery switches.  A straight on/off at the house ...

Having a little problem with my chart display showing my position approx 150
ft west of actual,  I checked chart datum (NOAA BSB raster type) and found
it was NAD83, whereas my GPS (non-WAAS) had been set to WGS84. So just for
the heck of it I set the GPS to NAD83. That didn't ...

I heard that Raymarine is announcing the AIS support on C/E series
charploters. Anybody know any details about this announce wich would be
released in the Miami Boat Show feb/2006.?

It looks like these two regulators are exactly the same device.  Did Xantrex

Just brought a "new" secondhand 31 ft sailboat and need to install
antenna for marine VHF. That will be either masthead (14 meters up) or
