Transducer Cable28 Apr 2006 18:52 GMT8
Hi all..  So, while installing my transducer ( DST50 Standard Horizon) I put
a staple from a staple gun into the cable.  Brilliant, I know.  Of course
the depth finder stopped reading depths so.. I'm guessing the cable is very
sensitive and I wont be able to repair the cable by ...

I have tried very hard to calibrate my wheelpilot, simrad wp30. Sailing in
circles until I'm dizzy - but no go.
I have read the manual again and again - I can't see what I'm doing wrong.
Can anyone help?
Raymarine Raytech RNS 6.026 Apr 2006 16:11 GMT32
I noticed in the Raymarine announcement for version 6.0, that you can
now plug your PC directly into the 8-port hub (why not  the 2 port hub
or direct to the E series ??), and do away with hsb2 and/or NMEA
connections.

Carbon fiber mast - Radio transparent?21 Apr 2006 00:20 GMT4
I have a Corsair marine F28R with a carbon fiber mast.  Can I mount an
antenna inside the mast?  The reason I ask is I have already lost 2
stainless whips, and the end of the mast already hangs about 6 feet
over the back of the boat when trailering, and so I'm not sure I want
Locating Air Horn near SSB whip antenna20 Apr 2006 20:58 GMT9
How concerned do I need to be about an Air Horn (Buell, 17/23") near a
SSB antenna?  The location I am going to put the whip in has an air
horn perhaps 1' forward.  Should I relocate the horn to the other
side?
about the circuit boards in the loran antenna couplers20 Apr 2006 19:31 GMT1
Are the circuit boards inside the loran antenna couplers considered active?
Since they have dc voltage running to them up the center conductor of the
coax from the set, it seems it would cause them to be considered an active
(vice passive) board.
engine monitoring with raymarine and crusader engines?20 Apr 2006 15:51 GMT12
What are my choices on getting engine monitoring data into my Raymarine E-80
display from a pair of 6.0 Crusader engines?  The E-80 can monitor oil
pressure, rpm, fuel flow, fuel tank levels, alternator and coolant temp.  I
can use either their SeaTalk or NMEA formatted data.
