My navigation is all NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 fortunately. It would also allow for display of the vital machine data in a nice overview screen. Now my machines are Mercury, and unfortunately not NMEA2000 but SmartCraft.

I have a garmin gps 12 that is connected to a raymarine interface and then to a com port on the PC. Last year everything worked perfect. This year the green LED in the interface (NMEA-led) stops and start when he wants.

Hi, just checked out my battery bank and noticed one AGM.4D battery ha a bad cell, only holding 10 volts after a long charge. ( this is a ban of (four) 12 volts in series for 24 volt system). All others are i good shape. Should I be concerned with drainage to other batteries ?

I find some of the lights on a Sea Ray boat (2006), SmartCraft instruments etc rather annoyingly bright in the night, especially the Compass and the stereo remote control. How can I dim them further, and possibly change the blue (!)

My friend has a Globalnav 3000 C This is installed on a boat he recently purchased. The unit seems to work fine, reads satellites, shows correct position on the cartridge charts etc. etc.
