I have an Adler Barbour "Cold Machine" refrigerator on my sailboat. If I
measure the Ah consumed at say 25 deg C ambient can I extrapolate to
what it will draw at 30 deg C? I don't want to wait till summer 2008 to
predict this Ah drain.

It may sound silly but I will ask anyway.
I am thinking of upgrading my satellite dish to a motorized one.

Have been using the 6000 for years and works well. Looking for the
sentence setup for XTE or some means of connecting it to the chart
plotter and use NMEA data.

I'm having a problem conecting a new navman 3100 multi (ver.1.4) to a
furuno 1650 f ,I'm trying to get the navman to tell me the speed and
the depth via the furuno ,I've conected it to 12v and the NMEA cable
and the common but it does not show any of the two. I have also check

    --Went to West Marine; the cheapest unit they sell was over $2k.
My application is a little weird but I don't need great range; a few hundred
feet would be good enough.
    --Does anyone know of a real bargain basement source for radar?

Obviously this board is fallen in popularity.
Where has everyone gone instead for marine electronics issues ?

It looks like no utility out there can write BSB/KAP files. Many can read.
