there is a simple way to stop the alternator delivering current when
the regulator has a failure ?

discusses how to make this and suggests the type of capacitor to use.

I purchased a small flexible solar panel from Silicon Solar Inc. Their web
site advises that the panel is "perfectly suited as a 12V battery charging
solar solution." Just what I need for trickling the 12 volt starting battery
for my dinghy. The solar panel produces 7.2v 100 mA.

Can anyone recommend products I should consider that gives me a portable

Technician. I have grade 12 and have worked on some electronics on my
dads boat. But I want to get a formal education somewhere and become
