GPS Handheld with an alarm that will keep beeping31 Jul 2008 11:20 GMT1
This question sounds easy, but so far a solution has been elusive.
I would like a small GPS handheld that has a basic lcd screen, tide tables
and most importantly an anchor alarm that won't stop beeping. I want to use
it as an anchor alarm but I want the alarm to keep beeping ...
VHF 22B and 83B channels?30 Jul 2008 10:09 GMT11
I'm in Canada on the St. Lawrence and the Canadian CG broadcasts the
weather on VHF 22B and 83B.  What the hell is "B"?  I've changed my
VHF settings to International and Canadian and I don't hear anything.

Inverter/Charger recommendations29 Jul 2008 00:13 GMT13
I have a ProSine 2.0 inverter/charger which is a piece of crap, to put
it mildly.  I've replaced the thing, under warranty, at least 4
times.  Now it's dying again and it's out of warranty, so I need to
replace it again.  *&^*!@

I have a Sony head unit (CDX-MP70) RMS 23x4 Peak 52x4.  I have it hooked up

off, then in about 5 seconds it pops back on and ...
12 volt stabalizer?15 Jul 2008 05:03 GMT16
I'm trying to find a stabalizer circuit for the house battery.
Someone (probably Larry?) a while back mentioned a device that could
take a wide range of input voltages and supply a reliable and smooth 12
VDC.
Balmar 612 regulator11 Jul 2008 07:06 GMT3
I installed the Balmar 612 regulator and selected the P03 - Gel
battery program which has a bulk voltage of 14.1. Need to set the bulk
at 14.4 as I use Sonnenschein Gel batteries. Went into the advanced
settings and adjusted bulk (Bu) to 14.4 but the regulator still

negative terminal of the battery is 8AWG. The wires coming off the
Trouble with Mercury 850 series07 Jul 2008 15:02 GMT1
I’m having trouble with a mercury 850 series outboard motor, 85hp,

can’t get power from the battery to the starter to turn over. The
battery is fine, checked it, replaced selenoid, didn’t work. I can get
