I ordered my first sea kayak - an Eddyline Nighthawk 16. I'm so excited! It
arrives Monday. Any other Nighthawk 16 or Merlin LT paddlers out there? What
neoprene sprayskirt do you use? I looked at the Snapdragon sizing chart,
which recommended a medium deck size, but couldn't fit it ...

Getting bored with the various lakes and rivers (flatwater) in southwestern
Massachusetts and someone recommended the area around Tivoli, NY.  Anyone
know anything about paddling that area?

Thanks again for all the help that has been offered here as I look for my first
kayak.  Based on what has been said today I have decided against an inflatable
and decided to purchase a used recreational kayak.  At first glance, the term
"recreational kayak" made me think of the ...

...what is the proper term for a large group of paddlers? Something
alliterative - a pod or pack of paddlers? Or something more boating
related - a drift or a brace of paddlers? Maybe a clutter, or an
infestation? No, wait; I think "infestation" has already been adopted

this is one of the best paddle destinations on earth

My Rival is almost worn out, and since Dagger is no longer making WW
canoes, I'm considering a Bell Prodigy. Has anyone ever paddled this
boat, or have any first hand knowledge about it?

I've been a whitewater kayaker  for ~15 years and I'm usually  out
every weekend.   I've always used a feathered paddle without any
problem.  My current feather paddle is 60 degrees.  I could never get
use to a non-feathered paddle.
