I'm getting spammed really bad by a Microsoft patch virus.  I'm getting
literally 200 100kb files a day.
Anyone else having this problem?

question on paddles used for touring kayaks30 Sep 2003 17:50 GMT6
Hi I have been kayak surfing for 20 years mostly with a regular white
water river paddle...can I use this same paddle for touring, or are
touring paddles different, or can I get away with using my "non
touring" paddle ?
Drowning on N.Fork Feather River(N.California)30 Sep 2003 16:31 GMT1
There was a rafting death Saturday Sept.27 on the N. Fork Feather River on the
Cresta Run. It was my understanding a raft with 5 passengers flipped on
Tablerock rapid with only 4 paddlers coming back to the surface. No other
detail is available at this time.   J. Colteaux
Our missing friend29 Sep 2003 11:28 GMT2
Hello there. It seems that our friend has been missing for some time now.
I'm ok with that.
I guess that my posting of his address and phone number shut the dribble
off... I think that it is the only thing I have been able to brag about my

I finally found two kayaks that I can fit in!  I actually sat in both and
could get in and out easily.  The British made P& H Capella

The Bell Prodigy and hi to my RBP friends29 Sep 2003 01:59 GMT7
Hi all. I recently saw a request for information about which boat one
ought to chose to replace a Dagger Rival.  I am working on my third
Rival and believe it to be the best tupperware WW canoe ever made.
However, the world moves on and Dagger is no longer making it.
Need Advise?28 Sep 2003 15:15 GMT1
I'm new to kayaking. I love the Lincoln Chebeauge 14.6' /24" beam and
have a new one on order. I like it's neutral paddling character in all
wind directions and currents and relative stability. Also the
lightness is a joy to car top and carry. While most of my paddling
Hello from Baltimore (new padler stuff)28 Sep 2003 09:38 GMT3
Hey Folks,
After being relocated from Los Angeles to Baltimore in 1970, a just
turned 50 Balto raised, new paddler, friend has asked for a paddling
partner. I agreed, and have purchased an "emotion Exileraor" Sit on
Continental unfair to paddlers27 Sep 2003 17:22 GMT4
Regarding my previous post about Continental Airlines treatment at the Cleveland airport :
I received a call from a customer service rep. She was very apologetic about the treatment I had received at the hands of their
agents in Cleveland and offered to replace the gear I left ...

A whitewater OC-1, a C-1, and a rodeo kayak.
Is this woman multi-talented, or what?

Almost ready26 Sep 2003 19:48 GMT18
So I went out and demo'd some CLC boats on Wednesday.  What a wonderful
experience.  I'm really looking forward to getting one of these boats
and beginning the building process.  I was hoping that my demo would
help me decide for certain that I wanted a single versus the tandem, ...
Bell Prodigy and the Rival and Royalex26 Sep 2003 00:07 GMT2
Hi all, I saw the post below on this subject and thought I would
return to RBP and post about it.
I have a Prodigy and like it.  It is very fast, faster even than
my Rival (which I think is the best tupperware WW canoe ever made).
