Want to decorate my kayak31 Oct 2004 19:46 GMT4
I would like to decorate my kayak.  Because I first got the kayaking bug
while in Alaska, I'd like a Tlingit or other west coast indian motif.
Does anybody know where I can find some indian art decals?  Or samples of
indian art I could copy?

Pyranha H3 safe exit?28 Oct 2004 22:46 GMT1
I am a born again paddler, my GP tells me I am clinically obese, my brother
uses a different term for it.
I bought a used Pyranha H3 255, great boat but I did my most of my paddling
20 years ago and I am not used to all the adjustment options.  Not that I am
Mad River Monarch/decked canoes28 Oct 2004 19:22 GMT4
I am interested in finding out about a Mad River Monarch decked
canoe--specifially   to purchase one if I can find out. Does anyone
have any information about them--reviews, love/hate, etc. Also, does
anyone know of any other company making a decked canoe?
Call for wild canoe or seakayak culture stories!28 Oct 2004 17:12 GMT2
OK, the whitewater folks have the rep for being 'crazee.' Well, I know
that flatwater and bigwater people are just as nuts...but in a
sustainable way, maybe more diverse, too (they're less monosyllabic).
So, c'mon, let me see some stories or fave posts---or please point me

would like to hang it in my garage.  Any suggestions on how to do this or
places where I could get the info I need?  Thanks for any help.  Gerry
Necky Zoar & Kayook for beginners?26 Oct 2004 01:52 GMT8
My GF and I are looking at used kayaks, with an eye mainly towards
day-paddling (river and Lake MI), with occasional one- or two-night
river trips.  We've paddled a few different kayaks in conditions
ranging from flat rivers to light ocean surf,  but we're not
Altamaha Paddlers?24 Oct 2004 17:43 GMT1
I'd like to hear advice and suggestions for scenic Altamaha River
trips.  This looks like a great river for a no-drama sit-on-top
paddler like me.  I'm willing to camp one night and provide transport
for pickup or dropoff.

Since the site "los hombres del rio dot com" will not be accessible
till next month because of traffic overload I just put together an
index page with all the virtual tours I've done so far so they can be
accessed from one central URL in the meantime
