whitewater paddlers to determine their unmet apparel needs.  I would
like to survey as many whitewater paddlers as possible - your
Shoulder questions28 Feb 2005 21:36 GMT2
I haven't been paddling in a few years, and now I'm getting back

ago in some fairly fast water. It doesn't really feel much different

chaco sandals26 Feb 2005 20:08 GMT7
My tevas wore out and I'm thinking of switching to Chacos. I tried the

problem: the footbed is not smooth, but rather it is covered with these
small circular bump thingies that made the bottom of my foot

Paddle Choice For Touring25 Feb 2005 17:58 GMT8
Yet another season approaches us Canadians.  This year, I hope to purchase a

so light, etc.
I wanted to get some opinions on what paddle to get.  Any opinions, folks?
New Paddling Gear! (NRS)24 Feb 2005 19:23 GMT12
Sorry to post back on topic.  My 2005 NRS catalog just arrived,
and I noticed several new things that perhaps merit discussion.
1. Most important is the new Werner variable-feather interlock
with patent pending.  I must see this in person.  It's hard to tell

Kelar Repair23 Feb 2005 15:58 GMT4
I have a Mad River Explorer made of kevlar. It is stored outside on a
rack. During a severe wind storm it was blown off the rack. It then
struck a rock which took a section of the outside off. The damaged
section measures about 3" x 7". The kevlar interior appears to be ok it

I just got a Sienna minivan and when I save up some money for gas I
hope to carry my Old Town Pack ( 12 foot - 33 Lb ) canoe to the lake.
I am looking for brackets that will mount on the rails to keep the
canoe from sliding side to side. The rail shape is NOT round or square,

I am in the process of changing from one kind of RV to another, and that
means that I need to figure out a new way to haul my 16 foot canoe.  The
5th wheel that I am buying occupies most of the bed of the truck.  The
best solution that I can figure out is to put the canoe over ...
