I haven't been paddling in a few years, and now I'm getting back into taking a kayak out. Not far, just a half mille or so now. It feels hard on my shoulders. I dislocated my left one a few years ago in some fairly fast water. It doesn't really feel much different

Yet another season approaches us Canadians. This year, I hope to purchase a paddle. My buddy has a carbon fibre paddle and I want one, because they are so light, etc. I wanted to get some opinions on what paddle to get. Any opinions, folks?

I have a Mad River Explorer made of kevlar. It is stored outside on a rack. During a severe wind storm it was blown off the rack. It then struck a rock which took a section of the outside off. The damaged section measures about 3" x 7". The kevlar interior appears to be ok it

I just got a Sienna minivan and when I save up some money for gas I hope to carry my Old Town Pack ( 12 foot - 33 Lb ) canoe to the lake. I am looking for brackets that will mount on the rails to keep the canoe from sliding side to side. The rail shape is NOT round or square,
