Hello. I am going on a trip to Quebec City and farther east towards Ile aux Coudres in Quebec. I've been searching the internet for info on kayaking around there and have come up with zilch. If you have any ideas or suggestions about where to launch, nice places to kayak,

| Dry Suit Seals: Observation | 19 Jan 2007 13:37 GMT | 17 |
I'm about to run out of 303 and have been obsessing lately about 303 vs McNett's UV-Tech - since I hose down my seals with 303 fairly religiously and the folks at OS Systems tout UV-Tech like it's almost essential to keep the seals going for any reasonable length of time.

I have read a lot of posts by self proclaimed experts who have nothin but bad things to say about the Mac 26s, based mainly on their envy o the ability of that boat to plane away when the owner wants to go fast However, there are a lot of so-called Classic, Mac 26D and 26S mode

| River of Doubt | 11 Jan 2007 23:17 GMT | 5 |
I'd like to recommend a canoe adventure story. It's called "River of Doubt" and is the Teddy Roosevelt expedition of a trib of the Amazon in Brazil. They ran the river in dugouts and built new canoes on the spot when the ones they started with were dashed in the rapids.

| 303 vs UV Tech For Seals? | 09 Jan 2007 17:44 GMT | 4 |
I've been using 303, but am running low. OS Systems touts UV Tech like it's hands-down the best stuff for protecting rubber dry suit seals. But I notice that the per-gallon cost of 303 and UV Tech are about the same.

| Carrying a canoe on an '05 Subaru Forester Roof Rack | 09 Jan 2007 02:02 GMT | 16 |
We're looking into purchasing a used canoe (an Old Town Penobscot 16, a 16 footer) and the only car we have to carry it is a 2005 Subaru Forester. There's a roof rack on the forester, and from rough tape measure estimates, it looks like it'll be close, but it will fit. I'm

| Did a cat pee in my kayak or WHAT?! | 08 Jan 2007 21:16 GMT | 7 |
Just a bit of moisture left inside my sealed hatches over time has resulted in a odour that's best depicted as "what the cat drug in"..... I know that chlorine is very bad for polyethlyene and neoprene so I'm thinking bleach as a mildew cleaner is a bad idea. Is clorox 2 an
