What is "Creeking"?29 Jul 2007 16:02 GMT3
I see the definition of "Creek Boat" at

but I'm still trying to figure out what makes creek kayaking
different from whitewater kayaking.

Hi everyone. I've been getting varying opinions on this so I thought

family. I'm looking to buy used or new.

Stolen Inazone 29025 Jul 2007 22:26 GMT1
I know that there isn't much hope but if anyone comes across, or is
offered a lime green Inazone 290 with black mottled effect and yellow
"hose" type handles - one of which will be cut when the slimeballs cut
it to get it off the trailer.
Dragonfly Inflatable23 Jul 2007 19:07 GMT1
I'm thinking of buying a Dragonfly solo inflatable kayak.
I need something really lightweight and not too expensive.
I'd like to hear from people who have paddled/owned one,
or a another light inexpensive kayak, under 30 lbs.
Kayak Tours and Rentals in Anchorage22 Jul 2007 13:08 GMT2
Are there any such businesses there? I did a yellow pages on Anchorage, and
found the pickings slim to none. One guy mentioned a Chugach rental, but I
have no idea where it is. Maybe it's well outside Alaska.
Well, maybe I can get an Alaska Milepost magazine.

Not too many days ago I was in Stanley, ID thinking of kayaking  on the
Salmon River 6 miles from a popular bridge in Stanley to Mormon Campground.
I thought about doing it on my own, and hoping someone would return me via
hitch hiking. People had suggested that seeing a person ...

South Fork of Silver Creek, in the mountains west of Lake Tahoe.

Hobie Pedal-Sail-Paddle Kayak15 Jul 2007 16:39 GMT1
Hi Paddlers,
I've had a Hobie Adventure Island kayak for almost a month now. I
love how it pedals and sails. The only time I paddle it is to go
backwards or sideways.

My family is planning on going white water rafting sometime in the

curious to hear where you guys think is the best place to go. We are
from the quad cities and would like to go somewhere within 8 or 9

Klepper Frame10 Jul 2007 13:43 GMT2
I have the chance to buy an old 60's double Klepper - frame needs
overhaul, skin is a replacement job, no seats.
Is this likely to be worth the US $250 being asked? I have the skills
to do woodwork repairs but have never made a skin, and replacement
